MAXILLARY SINUS

Sinus surgery is done under endoscope control, sometimes, with the use of navigation system to ensure of the instrument position in the cavities.

The most frequent sinus problems are polyps, cysts, tumors or sinus infection.

In order to know more about your case, it will be necessary –

-to hear your complaints,

-to examine you, to make nose endoscopy

-to perform a CT-scan of para-nasal sinuses, sometimes MRI, to precise the diagnose and to learn more about the anatomy.

When the examination is done, a surgery could be recommended. It will vary depending on the diagnosis but, in any case, it will be done under general anesthesia. You will be hospitalized.  You will spend one night in the hospital after surgery.
